Pray with me for the next 26 days!

Election day is coming up in 26 days.  I remember when another election was approaching a few years ago.  We were fixing to vote on the next President of the United States.  The past few days I've had this on my mind and realized that I have not been praying for my country and my leaders like I did back then.   I sometimes get away from the things that I know that I should be doing.  I believe in prayer.  I believe that God answers prayer today just as he has since His creation of man.  Most of you are probably praying in this area but some of you may not be lifting up our nation in prayer like you should be.  Let me encourage you to join me in prayer for the next 26 days as we approach another election day.  I will try to post a verse from the Bible each day just as a reminder!  I would love to see your comments and know that others are praying with me. That would be a blessing!

II Chronicles 7:14
If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.
