Hello! I guess it's time for an update! Some of you are already aware that we have moved from our hometown of Florence, Alabama to the Charleston area of South Carolina via facebook. We are really enjoying all of the beauty here. There's so much to see and do that it's hard to know where to start! I'm looking forward to visiting some plantations before long. Recently, we visited Patriots Point and toured the USS Yorktown!
We love our new church. We joined Trident Baptist Church yesterday morning (Father's Day)! Our pastor (Mike Haynes) is such a joy to be around. He was my hubby's pastor 20 years ago when Tony lived here as a teenager! It has been wonderful to meet all of these wonderful folks here!
Jesse & Caleb are planning to attend Youth Conference this year at First Baptist Church in Hammond, IN with the teen youth group. They are so excited! So far, they have been selling ice cream and had an auction after they went door to door doing the "Bigger or Better" program! Someone donated a telescope (a very nice one) and Caleb wanted it. We bid on it and was able to bring it home last night! I was amazed at God's handiwork as I looked at the moon last night. Before long, Caleb came back inside to tell me that he had found Saturn. Sure enough, I went out to check it out and I saw the beautiful planet of Saturn. It was small but I could see the rings and all.
Next week, the teens are selling spaghetti plates and they are having several other activities over the next few weeks to raise money for their trip!Jacob was feelng a little left out until he found out that our church does have the Patch the Pirate program and he really enjoyed SS and Jr. Church yesterday!
I'm very thankful that the Lord has allowed us to come to Tony's hometown and we look forward to what he has in store for us here!
Have a lovely week and thanks for taking the time to read my blog!!

Here's a few pics since we've come to SC. I apoligize that these pics are not very clear. My camera needs to be fixed and these were taken with my phone which doesn't have a great camera :(

You never know when a recipe like this might come in handy, haha!!
